sunset Trip

Ideal for large groups or families, our Sunset Trip is simply the best way to end the day on Milos.  Enjoy a gentle paddle, a light snack and a swim.  Then sit back and watch the sun melt into the distance!

We will meet 3 hours before sunset at Lagada beach, then paddle to Klima for some swimming and a light snack. Then about half an hour before sunset we get on the water for the return paddle with the sun setting over our right shoulder.  We arrive back just after sunset, in time to get off the water before dark.

For our Sunset Trip we use mostly double kayaks, however single kayaks are available upon request.  Expect to cover a distance of about 6 km at a very relaxed pace.  No previous kayaking experience is necessary

Depending on the size of the group and wind direction, alternative locations are possible

Your safety is our priority.  Our guides are experienced and qualified to lead groups in open sea conditions. They know how to keep you safe, handle any emergencies and make your experience enjoyable.

At the launch site, you will be briefed and given safety instruction. We will not begin our journey until everyone has a good understanding of how to handle a kayak and what to expect once underway.

Yes, no previous kayaking experience is required.

Strong wind can occur at any time of year, particularly in Summer.  The section of coast from Lagada beach to Klima is very sheltered from the prevailing summer north wind.  We can run this trip on most days.
