TO MILOS

WELCOME TO
MILOS ISLAND

You can rapidly get to Milos, either with daily flights from Athens airport, or by high-speed ferries.

Depending on the season, several ferry-boats connect Milos, both from/to Athens-Piraeus and from neighbouring islands (i.e. Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Crete, etc.).

FLIGHTS ATHENS-MILOS

From Athens International airport, there are up to 4 daily flights with Olympic Air  (part of the Aegean Airline group) and Sky Express.

The flights are usually operated by turboprop. aircraft ATR 42 (46 seats) or ATR 72 (70 seats).

The flight time from ATH to MLO airports takes approx. 35 minutes. Up today, there are no direct international flights to Milos.

FERRIES FROM PIRAEUS

From the port of Athens, the Piraeus, various passenger ferries regularly connect to Milos, 1/2 times per day in winter up to 6/8 daily in summer.

The journey takes 3 to 8 hours, basically depending on the number of islands visited (often 2 islands – Sifnos and Serifos – on the way).

USEFUL LINKS

From Athens International airport you can reach the ferry port of Piraeus either with the bus X96 (every 30 min.) or the new Metro.

There is a fixed price for public taxi from airport to Piraeus.

FROM OTHER ISLANDS

Starting spring, there are a daily ferry connections with the company “Seajets” from Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Sifnos, Serifos, increasing to 2 per day in the high season.

From Crete, there are direct ferries from Heraklion 2-3 times per week operated by the large and comfortable “Minoan Lines” ferries. 

OUR LOCATION

We are in the village of Triovasalos, 10′ drive from the port and 15′ from the airport. When you arrive in Milos, take a taxi to Kafenio Perros (our reception) in Triovasalos.

We are open from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm until late.

Taxi from the airport costs about €25. From Adamas (ferry port) about €12. From Adamas you can also take the bus (€2) to Plaka, ask the bus driver to let you off at Kafenio Perros.
