KAYAKING EQUIPMENT
We provide quality sea kayaks, paddles and accessories for all our day and multi day trips.
All equipment is selected for its performance and safety features and maintained to the highest standard.
OUR KAYAKS
SINGLE KAYAKS
Our current fleet comprises 55 singles kayaks in 20 unique models. All our kayaks are directionally stable, closed cockpit (“sit in”) kayaks, designed for oceanic conditions. They have sealed bulkheads, waterproof hatch covers and adjustable footrests. You can choose also kayaks with retractable skegs, or fitted with rudders.
DOUBLE KAYAKS | TANDEMS
We have a fleet of 12 double kayaks, most of them fitted with foot rudder controlled by the rear seated paddler.
Preferred for companionship and teamwork, double kayaks are useful for matching up paddlers of different strengths and offer increased stability and efficiency on windy days.
PADDLES
PADDLES | BLADES
We use exclusively Werner lightweight paddles, 210-220 cm in length. Made by fibreglass or carbon-fibre, they are durable, efficient and perfectly balanced.
Blades include stylish, high-performance designs such as Little Dipper, Shuna and Corryvreckan types, with variable feather from 90 degrees left to 90 degrees right.
GREENLAND PADDLES
An assortment of Greenland style paddles are well available, for those who prefer or would like to try this style of paddling
The Greenland style of paddle is far thinner in appearance. Two skinny blades and a thin, typically round, shaft give it a sleek thin silhouette. Blades have less defined shape, narrower than the Europeans.
Greenland paddles are great for rolling, easier on the body and can be used in almost any conditions.
SPRAYDECKS | BUOYANCY AIDS
PVC SPRAY DECKS
Easier to put on and take off and cooler in summer, our custom designed PVC spray decks are a popular alternative to neoprene.
NEOPRENE SPRAY DECKS
We use neoprene spraydecks by Playboater and Palm. Available in all sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
BUOYANCY AIDS
A good Buoyancy Aid (BA), or Personal Flotation Device (PFD), is non-restrictive, easy to wear and adjust, firm when swimming and has a useful front pocket for camera, sun cream, etc.
We use BA’s by Peak UK, Palm, and Kokotat.
MULTI KAYAKS TRAILER
FREE TO CHOOSE THE BEST ROUTES
Our specially designed Sea Kayak Trailer permits us to move the equipment and operate in different part of the island, differently from kayakers based – and bound to – one beach only.
In any wind condition, we have the possibility to select a variety of the best routes and guarantee to our customers a memorable paddling experience in Milos.
