Sea Kayaking Day Trips
Our full day sea kayaking adventures explore remote sections of the Milos coastline. The actual route will be chosen the evening before, based on the latest forecast. A typical day involves approximately 3 hours’ paddling with 2 stops for swimming, snorkeling, relaxing and lunch.
A single day trip is a great way to see Milos if your time is limited and for those new to the sport. You will experience crystal clear water, deserted beaches, sea caves, narrow passages, rock gardens, huge cliffs and secluded coves. For those considering two or more day trips, we guarantee a different route each day.

Trips are planned according to the wind direction, therefore it is not known which trip will take place on any given day until the evening before. It will be a different trip each day with no repeats within 7 days.
Both double and single kayaks are available to all persons on all trips. Double kayaks are useful for matching up paddlers of different strengths and are a great advantage on windy days as they offer increased efficiency and stability.
For those with some kayaking experience you can choose from our wide variety of single kayaks, see our equipment page for a full list of models available.
Your safety is our priority. Our guides are experienced and qualified to lead groups in open sea conditions. They know how to keep you safe, handle any emergencies and make your experience enjoyable.
At the launch site, you will be briefed and given safety instruction. We will not begin our journey until everyone has a good understanding of how to handle a kayak and what to expect once underway.
Most certainly. Anyone with at least moderate fitness can participate. Once on the beach and you are properly fitted into your kayak, you will be given a full safety briefing and basic introduction to paddling technique. On the water we paddle as a group. You will learn to paddle by doing. Coaching tips will be provided, as required. We will kayak for no more than one hour at a relaxed pace before making our first stop, where you can relax and swim. After another hour paddling we will stop for a generous lunch break, then another hour paddling to finish at around 5.30 pm.
Yes. As an experienced paddler you will be free to explore, while the less-experienced are kept in closer check. A typical day trip involves generous breaks where some may like to swim and relax; others may prefer to practice their kayaking skills. There is always the option to paddle a little further or faster. As there are two guides on the water, we can split the group if necessary.
A moderate level of fitness is required. Distances paddled each day will range from 12 to 18 km, or approximately 3-4 hours’ paddling, with two beach breaks and several rest periods in the kayaks. A good level of physical fitness will allow you to enjoy the trip much more. In addition windy and/or rough conditions may require a prolonged period of physical exertion. A little stamina and a good attitude are essential in such conditions!
Strong wind can occur at any time of year. When it is windy we always plan the trip on the sheltered side of the island. Twice per month, on average, it is too windy to run a trip. In this case you have the option to reschedule for the following days or cancel for free.
