Agatha beach

The most northerly of the west coast beaches; a large and wide sandy expanse, it makes a great lunch or camping spot.

On the northern side of the bay there used to be a stone and metalwork gantry.  Built in the middle of the last century, to load mining products onto ships, the gantry fell down over the winter of 2002.   Erosion of the foundation of the outer pillar, by wave action, caused the pillar to tumble.
