I have no kayaking
experience, are your day-trips suitable?
Most certainly. Anyone with at least
moderate fitness can participate. Once on the beach and you are
properly fitted into your kayak, you will be given a full safety
briefing and basic introduction to paddling technique. On the water we
paddle as a group. You will learn to paddle by the best way possible -
by doing - coaching tips will be provided, as required. We
will be kayaking for no more than one hour, at a relaxed pace before the
first stop. Here you can relax, swim and snorkel and enjoy the
places that are only accessible by kayak. After another hour
paddling we will stop for a generous lunch break, then another hour
paddling to finish at around 5.30pm.
I am an experienced
paddler, will I find day-trips challenging enough?
Yes. As an experienced paddler you will
be free to roam, while the less-experienced are kept in closer check.
A typical day-trip involves generous breaks where some may like to swim
and relax, while others may prefer to 'see what's around the corner' or
practice their roll or other skills. There is always the
option to paddle a little further or faster for those that want.
What if I'm
not sure how many days I want to go paddling?
You are welcome to stay and paddle for as many days as you want and pay
accordingly. You pay for the days you actually go paddling.
Are
non paddling partners welcome to stay in the guesthouse?
Yes.
