Circumnavigation of Milos - 5 days kayaking, 4 nights camping, (self-catering), 2 nights B&B - 490 euro pp.

We aim is to circumnavigate Milos island, a distance of approximately 90km in 5 days.  Each day will involve 15-20 km paddling or about 4 hours.  There will be plenty of time to practice skills or a variety of out-of-kayak activities - snorkeling, climbing rocky islets, exploring historical and archaeological sites and relaxing on the beach. Nights will be spent wild camping on beaches. Some paddling experience required, though not necessary on the sea.

Kimolos and Poliegos expedition - 4 days kayaking, 3 nights camping, (self-catering), 2 nights B&B - 410 euro pp.

Explore the history and pristine coastline Milos' nearest neighbors.  Our four day expedition around both islands, a distance of approximately 75km, starts and finishes at Pollonia on Milos.

The crossing to Kimolos is one km from Milos.  The island is mountainous and is mostly inaccessible by road   It has a population of 500 people, all living in a single village on the SE coast.

Poliegos is the largest uninhabited island in the Aegean sea.  The western side comprises low rolling hills and long sandy beaches, in stark contrast to the eastern side of jagged peaks and huge, towering cliffs.  The crossing to Poliegos is 3km from Kimolos.

Island Hopping expedition: Milos to Santorini -  8 day expedition , 7 nights camping (self-catering), 2 nights B&B in Milos - 700 euro pp.

A challenging expedition for experienced sea paddlers.  You must have enough stamina to paddle 25-30km per day, including open crossings of up to 24km; be comfortable paddling in strong wind and waves; and have good capsize prevention and recovery skills.

  • Total Distance = 190km

  • Longest open crossing = 24km (about 4 hours)

The aim of the expedition is to cross from Milos to Santorini, via the islands of Kimolos, Poliegos, Folegandros, Sikinos and Ios.  The total distance is about 190km or about 24km per day.  We aim to camp near the crossing point each night, rise early and complete the crossing in the morning then spend the afternoons exploring the length of each island, at a leisurely pace. We will encounter restaurants and shops, for food and water, at least every second day.
